Havnestad Syd

Havnestad Syd was acquired by Fund I in September 2002 and sold in June 2005.

Havnestad Syd was a 67,000 sqm phased residential development, two kilometres from Copenhagen city centre. Strategically situated in the growing harbour area between the city centre and Copenhagen International Airport, the development offered tenants a prime waterfront location and convenient access to the city centre. Doughty Hanson acquired the project as part of a joint venture with the listed Danish real estate company Sjælsø Gruppen A/S.

During our ownership, Doughty Hanson developed the project in five phases, successfully pre-selling 95% of the 740 residential units.
