Liljeholmsstrand was acquired by Fund I in December 2000 and sold in March 2006.
Liljeholmsstrand was an estate of modern office properties located in the Liljeholmen area, a popular sub-market just south of central Stockholm. In aggregate, the properties provided approximately 38,000 sqm of offices together with 500 car parking spaces. Major tenants included Carl-Bro, WM-Data, Roche and Boehringer.
During our ownership, Doughty Hanson formed a new operating platform to focus on leasing as the wider market declined, leased up the vacant space and managed a change in construction rights from office to residential to offer a more attractive development alternative.
