Maciachini Center

Maciachini Center

Maciachini Center was acquired by Fund I in September 2003 and sold in December 2007.

The project involved the redevelopment of the former headquarters of pharmaceutical company Carlo Erba in Milan, near Piazza Maciachini and its Metro station. A master plan for the redevelopment was created for a high quality office park of 12 buildings following the demolition of 17 pre-existing structures.

During our ownership, Doughty Hanson developed the 67,000 sqm office park in three phases and successfully leased the properties to a number of well known international tenants, including Zurich Financial, Montblanc, Mattel, Universal Music, Macquarie Bank and Virgin Active.
