Office Park Nové Butovice and Metronom
Office Park Nové Butovice and Metronom were acquired by Fund I in January 2001. Office Park Nové Butovice was sold in March 2007 and Metronom was sold in September 2010.
Office Park Nové Butovice was a high quality, suburban office park development located in Prague. The project was immediately adjacent to the Nové Butovice metro station and had direct access to the main arterial roads and motorway network, providing easy access to both the city centre and international airport within 15 minutes.
Doughty Hanson acquired a controlling interest in the project at an early stage in the development process, which provided the opportunity to refine the product and design of the office buildings, put in place a strong project management team, and define and implement the marketing and leasing strategy to meet both occupier and investor requirements. On completion of the phased development, the buildings were leased to high quality tenants including Accenture, Allianz, IDS Scheer and Sagem.
Metronom was a prominent site neighbouring Office Park Nové Butovice. Doughty Hanson designed and obtained planning permission for an institutional quality office and residential development of more than 50,000 sqm in advance of its sale.
