Doughty Hanson is committed to pursuing leadership in sustainable business practices across all of its investment activities. Consistent with this approach, Doughty Hanson Real Estate actively encourages sustainable building design across its portfolio of assets to achieve internationally recognised environmental performance ratings. This goes beyond minimum legal requirements to include urban revitalisation, the conservation of natural resources, and improvements in the environmental and social attributes of individual developments.

Environmental issues are internally monitored on a quarterly basis after an investment has been made, or more frequently if appropriate. Material environmental and sustainability matters are reported to investors on a semi-annual basis.
