Ubidyne Appoints Top Telecom Industry Executive, Joachim Horn, to Board of Directors

Ubidyne, the leader in Antenna Embedded Radio™ technology for the wireless industry, today appointed Bharti Airtel’s Joachim Horn as an independent director on the company’s Board of Directors. Horn will replace Michael Fränkle, Ubidyne’s newly appointed CEO.
Joachim Horn is the Executive Director of the Network Services Group at Bharti Airtel. He has over twenty-six years of global experience in technology and wireless networks. His last assignment was with T-Mobile as Group Chief Technology Officer. During his tenure at T-Mobile, Joachim Horn was responsible for leading a large-scale network modernization in the core, radio and service platforms. He also laid the foundation for a successful Mobile Broadband business at T-Mobile by introducing both 3.5G HSPA and Edge in the companies’ European networks. Prior to T-Mobile, Joachim Horn was a senior executive for R&D and Sales responsible for the mobile infrastructure business at Siemens Mobile Networks (now NSN). Joachim Horn also served as a GSMA board member and was the chairman of the GSMA strategy committee.
