Even billion dollar companies start small

We invest in the early stage of companies that have potential to build global world-class businesses and provide entrepreneurs access to our high quality capital, experience and resources to drive growth.  

For many of our portfolio companies our first investment can be small. We typically lead the first institutional round of funding with an initial investment of €2-5 million and continue our commitment of capital and support throughout the entire life-cycle of a successful business. Occasionally, we consider later and larger rounds of funding for companies with an attractive growth profile.

We normally seek a significant ownership percentage - yet not majority - so that the partnership with the entrepreneur has a solid base and the investment is meaningful.  When appropriate, we do syndicate the investment with other top names venture funds, both in Europe and in the US, in order to strike the right balance between risk and reward for all stakeholders.

We target companies that are headquartered, or conduct a substantial part of their business in Western Europe. With offices and resources thoughout Europe and in Silicon Valley we have a track record of success in helping our entrepreneurs expand internationally.
